The Metropolis Los Angeles is an excellent example of our expertise in turning concepts into reality. This project required the design, fabrication, and installation of decorative aluminum panels and a metal canopy on the exterior of an existing building in a busy, urban location.

Metropolis is located in downtown Los Angeles. The urban setting and busy location presented the biggest challenges to the project. Since it was an existing building, there was a very small site footprint in which we could work. Lane closures and the public setting made installation even more challenging.
Our team utilized modular construction for this project to minimize time on site and facilitate installation. By fabricating the panels and canopy sections in smaller, more maneuverable sections at our manufacturing facility, we were able to eliminate many of the installation challenges that can happen with larger architectural design elements.
Our modular construction approach worked as intended. Fabrication was completed at our manufacturing facility and components were shipped ready to be installed. This approach ultimately saved time spent on installation and allowed more space for other trades to complete their work.
